1214 players registered for IPL 2022; Few prominent players blackout

The base salaries have been set to INR 2 Crore, INR 1.5 Crore, INR 1 Crore, INR 50 Lakhs, and INR 20 Lakhs.

A total of 1214 players have registered for the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, which is scheduled to be held on Feb. 12 and 13. The deadline for which was set at Jan. 21 and the list includes 270 capped players, 903 Uncapped, and 41 associate nation players. Apart from 896 Indian players, a total of 318 overseas players have registered in the auction.

Australia, South Africa, and West Indies have the most number of players on the auction list. There are a total of 59 players from Australia, 41 players from the West Indies and 48 players from South Africa. Apart from these three, there are 36 players from Sri Lanka, 30 from England and 29 from New Zealand.
