15% more Indians take the IELTS exam post-COVID
Recently, IDP opened 23 new offices in various states across India to make taking the IELTS exam option more accessible to Indians from different parts of the country.
According to official statistics, the number of Indian candidates appearing for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam has increased by 15 percent since the COVID-19 pandemic.
IELTS is a globally recognized English language proficiency test that natives from non-English speaking countries have to take to be eligible to study in or migrate to countries where English is the native language.
