Indian-American organizations in New York receive state funding
“The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on so many vulnerable and marginalized communities across New York State,” Governor Hochul is quoted saying in the press release.

On Feb. 20, 2022, Noting that Asian Americans have been ‘too long forgotten,” Gov. Hochul, announced US$10 million in awards for organizations providing services to these communities that were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and hate crimes.
