A street in New York is exclusively named after Indian- origin community leader

A street sign in New York City was recently named after Late Darmacharya Pandit Ramlall, a Guyanese freedom fighter and leader of Indo- Caribbean community. His legacy was honoured by a sombre and lavish occasion at the corner of Liberty Avenue and 133rd street, Richmond Hill, New York City on 27, June 2021

This was approved right after the corner of Liberty Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY was co-named “Little Guyana Avenue, earlier this June.
