The founding president of the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Victory Fund, Varun Nikore, announced that he would step down to concentrate solely on the AAPI Victory Alliance's national and state-based AAPI political advocacy efforts, as well as to create a first-ever AAPI think tank.

"I appreciate the AAPI Victory Fund and the Board for all we've done over the past six years. I never imagined when we originally launched this group that it would become the essential force shaping and driving AAPI politics as it is today. I am certain that the organization will be in excellent hands, and I will continue to push for AAPI voices to be heard. During this shift, I want to remain associated with the AAPI Victory Fund." said Nikore.
