Air India announced on Tuesday that it will reduce or revise its flights to the United States beginning Jan. 19 due to the deployment of 5G internet there.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States said on Jan. 14 that 5G interference with an aircraft's radio altimeter could prevent the engine and braking systems from transitioning to landing mode, preventing the plane from stopping on the runway.
