Well known actor and comedian Vir Das has waded into a controversy over a monologue he delivered as a part of his performance in the US. The actor performed at the John F Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. However, post his performance, people on social media called him out for 'insulting India’
Vir Das who is currently in the US uploaded a video on YouTube titled 'I come from two India's”. In his six-minute video, he talked about the duality of the country and many pressing issues of India like farmers protest, rapes cases, COVID 19, clampdown against comedians and many others issues.
