USDA announced the appointment of Dr. Dilip Nandwani on Friday

An Indian American professor Dr. Dilip Nandwani at Tennessee State University in Nashville has been named to the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) as a scientist for a five-year term ending in Jan. 2027.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the appointment of Nandwani, who has a Ph.D. in Botany and has 10 years of teaching expertise in organic agriculture, certification, and crop science, along with three other new members, on Friday.
