Anti-Apartheid icon Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim dies at 84
Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim spent over a decade imprisoned on Robben Island as a political prisoner alongside Nelson Mandela, the first President of South Africa.

Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim, an Indian-origin veteran of the anti-apartheid movement and former deputy minister of international relations and cooperative affairs in South Africa passed away at the age of 84.
According to a statement by the ruling African National Congress (ANC), Ebrahim died in his Johannesburg home after a long illness on Monday.
