Apurva Chandra inaugurates Media and Entertainment Week at Dubai
The Ministry of I&B will be participating in various events at the pavilion. Additionally, the Ministry will also formalise a MoU with UAE for a mutually beneficial collaboration. The discussion will continue in the upcoming months and MoU is expected to be signed within half a year.
The Media and Entertainment Week in the India Pavilion at the Dubai Expo was inaugurated by Apurva Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in the presence of the Indian actor R. Madhavan.
Chandra is leading a delegation of the Ministry comprising of Mayank Agarwal, Director General, Doordarshan; Vikram Sahay, Joint Secretary, Ministry of I & B; and Ravinder Bhakar, CEO Central Board of Film Certification and Managing Director, National Film Development Corporation of India.
