Australian Defence Minister Peter Dutton meets Rajnath Singh
The two ministers held discussions on India and Australia's bilateral defence cooperation as well as regional issues.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met his Australian counterpart Peter Dutton yesterday (Sept. 10) on his first official visit to India along with a high-level delegation. The '2+2' ministerial dialogue was attended by Dutton and Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne.

"Our discussions today focused on our bilateral defence cooperation and expanding military engagements across the services, enhancing defence information sharing, cooperation in emerging defence technologies and mutual logistics support," he added.
