Australia include spinner Radhakrishnan in the squad for U-19 World Cup

The only known ambidextrous cricketer in Australia's junior talent supply line, Nivethan Radhakrishnan has been named to the 15-member squad for the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2022. He was a Delhi Capitals net bowler during the first phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season.

During his IPL stay, the 19-year-old Radhakrishnan, whose family moved to Sydney from India in 2013, rubbed elbows with Ricky Ponting, Steve Smith, and numerous other great Indian players. He was given rookie contracts by both NSW and Tasmania this season, but he chose to join the latter.
