International students can return to Australia from Dec. with no restrictions, said Scott Morrison, the Prime Minister of Australia on Monday. The country will also allow entry to foreign visa holders.

With over 85% of its adult citizens being completely vaccinated, this is the latest step taken by the country to restart international trade and travel and to boost its economy post pandemic. Australia had closed its international borders in May 2020, restricting entry to only small numbers of citizens and permanent residents in an effort to control the spread of the covid-19 virus.
