Australian-Indian mother-daughter duo join Royal Australian Airforce
Manjeet Kaur had arrived in Australia in 2009 on a student visa with her husband S. Roop Singh Sandhu and two daughters. In 2013, the family became permanent residents of Australia and Manjit Kaur joined the RAF‘s medical wing in 2017.

Indian-Australian woman Manjit Kaur and her 20- year- old daughter Khushroop Kaur created history by joining as Aircraftwomen in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAF).
Five years after her mother, Khushroop Kaur has also made a mark by enlisting in the Royal Australian Airforce. Khushroop was 15 years old when her mother became an RAF officer.
