Australian to be jailed for jihad in Kashmir

Khaled was on counter-terror police radar for weeks before the arrest. He was also in the process to procure an AK47 rifle before heading to Delhi.

Melbourne-based car salesman Khaled Temssah, 31 has fronted the county court today and admitted that he wanted to raise jihad against Indian forces deployed in Kashmir. In the court, the prosecutor claimed that Khaled wanted to join ISIS and fight for a common cause in Kashmir.

Khaled was arrested in June 2019 right before he was about to board a plane for Delhi from Melbourne International airport. He was nabbed at his workplace, a car sales outlet in a northern suburb of Melbourne, Roxburgh Park.
