BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Toronto vandalised with anti-Indian insults

A video of the vandalised shrine, where Khalistani slogans can be seen inscribed on the walls, is being circulated on social media.

Several racial insults against Indians were written on the walls of the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Toronto on September 13. The Indian High Commission in Canada strongly condemned the behaviour and raised the issue to the Canadian authorities, urging them to take prompt action and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The official Twitter account of the High Commission of India in Ottawa, Canada, tweeted, “We strongly condemn defacing of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir  Toronto with anti-India graffiti. Have requested Canadian authorities to investigate the incident and take prompt action on perpetrators.”
