Abu Dhabi is mandating visitors entering the city to produce documentation of booster doses due to a widespread increase in coronavirus caused by the spread of the highly transmissible omicron form.

According to the government's health app, visitors entering the capital of the United Arab Emirates must display a "green permit," proving their vaccination status, earlier this week. Visitors are no longer considered completely vaccinated, according to the app, unless they have gotten a booster at least six months after their second dosage.
