The BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries gathered for the 13th summit today (Sept. 9) with the theme 'BRICS@15: Intra-BRICS cooperation for continuity, consolidation and consensus'. The countries discussed the COVID pandemic, the situation in Afghanistan and counter-terrorism

Chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit was virtually attended by the Brazil President Jair Bolsanaro, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
