NGO organizes sustainable consumerism drive
World Consumer Rights Day is an annual event which aims to raise awareness on consumer rights and to work towards a safe and sustainable marketplace for everybody.

Nonprofit organization ‘Consumers For Sustainability’ conducted an awareness drive to spread awareness among the public about sustainable consumerism on World Consumer Rights Day. Dubbed “Cluck de India”, the campaign aimed to highlight the importance consumers making healthy, cruelty-free choices plays in creating a more food security conscious and environmentally friendly world.
A signature campaign was organized inviting people to sign a ‘pro-planet pledge’ for sustainable dietary practices and ways of living. Additionally, a group of volunteers distributed pamphlets among those present to further educate the public on sustainable consumerism.
