A recent study conducted by Tata-Cornell Institute for Agriculture and Nutrition (TCI), analyzed the differences in the nutritional diversity (number of food groups consumed) of Indian women in May 2019 and May 2020. The study indicated decreased intake of meat, eggs, vegetables, and fruits which are essential parts of a healthy diet.
