Indian origin Sudha Setty has recently been appointed as the dean of the City University of New York School of Law (CUNY).

"I am delighted and humbled to be the new dean of the CUNY School of Law. This law school was formed with the purpose of public service, social justice lawyering, inclusivity, and accessibility in mind," said Setty.
