Day 4 Tokyo Olympics 2020: A mixed bag of emotions for India

Quest for medals is still possible in Hockey and Boxing as players advance to the Quarterfinals.

After their huge margin loss against Australia Indian men's hockey team won 3-0 against World No. 9 team Spain on Tuesday. Simranpreet Singh scored a clean goal in the first quarter putting India in the lead. That was quickly followed by another goal by Rupinder Pal Singh which took team India to 2-0 by the end of the first quarter.

In the following two quarters no goal was scored however Spain made brilliant attempts but the Indian defense did not budge. Rupinder scored another goal after converting a penalty corner in the final quarter after which India gained victory.
