Delhi’s Deputy Chief minister, Manish Sisodia met UK’s minister for skills, Mr. Alex Burghart, to discuss potential collaborations to boost Delhi’s higher education system on Wednesday, May 25.

The meeting took place in London which Mr. Sisodia claimed was a ‘productive discussion on the UK's experience with job creation and skills education.’ He stated that the meeting emphasized on plans to promote innovation and create 21st century jobs in Delhi.

Mr. Sisodia later went on to meet assessment policy expert from Cambridge assessment, Mr. Tim Oates to discuss examination reforms. He stated, “The world is doing lots of reforms in examination systems to ensure a knowledge rich education. Much needed examination reforms are the key to fixing the problems of our education system too.”
