Elon Musk to testify on Twitter for UK Parliament
The Commons Digital Committee invited Musk to discuss his plans to balance "free speech" with "obligations to protect Twitter's users."

The UK Parliament's digital committee asked the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk to provide more ‘in-detail’ evidence about his proposals for Twitter on Wednesday, May 3.
The Commons Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee invited Musk to parliament as they wanted to hear more about the billionaire's plans to balance "free speech" with "obligations to protect Twitter's users."

In a letter to the Tesla boss, committee chair Julian Knight wrote, “At a time when social media companies face the prospect of tighter regulations around the world, we’re keen to learn more about how Mr. Musk will balance his clear commitment to free speech with new obligations to protect Twitter’s users from online harms.”
