Eric Garcetti’s nomination as Ambassador to India gets nod from US Foreign Relations committee; proceeds to Senate
His nomination will be presented before the U.S. senate and subject to a vote, the date is yet to be scheduled.

On Wednesday, the United States Foreign Relations committee gave its approval Eric Garcetti’s nomination as U.S. Ambassador to India. His nomination will now proceed to the Senate. If confirmed by a majority, he will be declared as “Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of India.”
