First Indian Australian Woman to Receive the Supreme Court Prize

25-year-old Priyanka Banerjee is the first Indian Australian woman to receive the Supreme Court Prize. It is a prestigious award given to one of the top ranked students of the Juris Doctor degree, and the Melbourne Law School alumna.

Priyanka Banerjee says, she pursued law as she felt in some way or the other people are affected by law on a daily basis. It surely is fascinating because knowing how to successfully traverse law may be a valuable tool for assisting others, solving issues, and advocating for the people whose voices are not heard. Banerjee is currently working at Allen, Disputes and Investigations as a law graduate.
