Maju Kuruvilla, an Indian-American, has been chosen CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the California-based fintech startup Bolt. He takes over for founder and CEO Ryan Breslow, who will take on a new position as executive chairman of the board. Kuruvilla, who worked with Amazon for nearly eight years, joined the startup as its chief product and technology officer in January 2021.
In a post on LinkedIn, Kuruvilla, aged 44, thanked Breslow for trusting him and giving him “an opportunity to be part of the amazing Bolt story. So excited about the future. Let’s decentralize commerce.”
