Former Indian American Ambassador appointed to Ford Foundation board of trustees

The trustees of the Ford Foundation are chosen by the full board and serve six-year terms.

The Ford Foundation has appointed former Indian American ambassador Richard Verma, general counsel and head of Global Public Policy at Mastercard, as a Trustee.

"The Ford Foundation is at the vanguard of vital campaigns for human rights and global equality, and I look forward to engaging in this effort. At this critical juncture in history, I am humbled to have the chance to collaborate with recognized leaders at Ford to address injustice and achieve social justice throughout the globe." said Verma
