The Australian Researcher Cooperation Hub – India (ARCH-India) was established in 2021 as a joint effort of the Department of Education, Skills, and Employment (DESE) and the Australia India Institute in Melbourne (AII). It's an online community where researchers from India and Australia can interact, establish friendships, exchange knowledge, and explore cooperation and mobility possibilities.

"The idea and establishment of ARCH-India have been a long-held goal of successive Directors of the Australia India Institute," said Lisa Singh, CEO of AII Institute.
