A large-scale departure of museum items in Scotland has been agreed by the Glasgow City Council on Thursday, April 7. It is the largest repatriation with artifacts to be returned to India, Nigeria, and Native Americans.
Representing the Government of India and Archaeological Services India, the High Commission of India in London requested the restoration of eight items. The list include a ceremonial sword, a scabbard, and building fragments stolen from Hindu temples and shrines.
