Groundbreaking ceremony of UK ‘s first ever purpose built Hindu crematorium takes place in Denham

The Aum Crematorium when completed will give Hindu, Jain and Sikh communities in UK a place to perform last rites of family members according to Hindu customs.

A groundbreaking ceremony according to Vedic rituals was recently performed at Denham, United Kingdom for the construction of UK and Europe’s first ever purpose built Hindu crematorium, called Aum Crematorium by Anoopam Mission UK.

Eleven distinguished individuals representing a cross section of the Hindu community took part in the ceremony. The event was attended by Members of Parliament, leaders of councils, mayors, local councilors, and representatives of community organizations from across UK.
