The University of Arkansas (UA) at Little Rock's Collaboratorium for Social Media and Online Behavioral Studies (COSMOS) has acquired a multiyear grant from a Department of Defense initiative to analyze covert online information campaigns in the Indo-Pacific area.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock collaborates on a five-year project called "Multi-Level Models of Covert Online Information Campaigns" with Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Regina, and The Atlantic Council. The project, led by Dr. Kathleen Carley of Carnegie Mellon University, has a total funding of around US$5 million.
