American magazine Fortune released its annual ‘40 under 40’ list that features the most influential people under the age of 40. This year’s list included four Indian Americans Amit Paley, Akila Raman, Raj Kannappan, and Rohan Seth

Meet the four Indian Americans:

Amit Paley

He is 39 years old and the CEO and Executive Director of the The Trevor Project, a nonprofit that is the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for the young LGBTQ community. Under his guidance, the project has expanded to include more volunteers to serve the LGBTQ youth and the number of youth benefited through the organization has quadrupled during the pandemic.
