Human Rights Arts and Film Festival features ‘Writing with Fire’
Writing with Fire is a 2021 Indian documentary film made by Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas which tells the story of journalists who manage the Dalit women-led daily Khabar Lahariya as they transition from print to digital journalism via cellphones after 14 years in print.

India’s Oscar entry, ‘Writing with Fire’, is being featured at the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival (HRAFF), the largest public human rights arts event in Australia, taking place in Melbourne. The event commenced on April 28, 2022, and will go on until May 7, 2022.
