Hurun releases a list of the richest women in India

Nine women on the self-made billionaires' list are under the age of forty, with the youngest woman on the list being 33 year old Kanika Tekriwal of Jetsetgo.

The Hurun leading wealthy women list was released on July 27 2022. The report, which was compiled by Kotak Private Banking and Hurun India, focuses on the achievements of India’s top hundred self-made or active women entrepreneurs, businesswomen and professionals. Featuring 97 Indian women from four countries and 29 cities spread across the globe, this is the third such compilation of data. The list is based upon the net worth of women calculated as of December 31, 2021.

At the top of the list is Roshni Nadar Malhotra. With her wealth valued at 843,300 million rupees, she leads HCL technologies as its chairperson and has topped the list for the second time. Under her management, HCL made the largest deal in the company’s history, purchasing seven IBM products worth 137,400 million rupees.
