IAF’s light combat aircraft, Tejas to take part in multinational exercise

According to the IAF report, five Tejas aircraft will be flying to the UK and all necessary support for induction and de-induction will be provided by IAF’s C-17.

Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Light Combat Aircraft(LCA) Tejas, will be taking part in a multi-nation exercise  (Ex Cobra Warrior 22’ along with fightmultination of UK and other advanced jets from leading Air Forces. The exercise will be between March 6 and March 27 at Waddington, United Kingdom.

IAF intends on enhancing combat capability and developing a bond of friendship by providing operational exposures and sharing best practices with other Air Forces, an official IAF statement said. “This exercise is a good platform for Tejas, to demonstrate its maneuverability and operational capability”, it added.
