IKEA joins with local Indian artisans for their new series 'LOKALT'

IKEA collaborates with Indian artisans to make desi motifs global. The Swedish home furnishing brand reached out to the local Indian artisan, designer and craftworkers for a modern take on traditional handicraft inspired by traditions. This new range is named as LOKALT.

LOKALT is a Swedish word meaning locally. For the new collection, IKEA has also joined together with artisans from Jordan and Thailand to create contemporary designs combined with local handicrafts.
