India becomes a significant contributor as number of visitors to Singapore rises
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) indicated in an official statement that it anticipates six million foreign tourists to arrive this year.
Indians were the second largest number of visitors to Singapore after the country reopened its borders post the covid-19 pandemic. Singapore welcomed more than 1.5 million visitors from various countries out of which 219,000 travellers were Indians.
This total figure is only up till June 2022 for all travellers who had obtained the Covid-19 vaccination in April of this year.
