India, China complete disengagement in Hot Springs region

Exercise Parvat Prahat took place in the Ladakh sector by Indian military as China and India were preparing to withdraw from Patrolling Point-15.

Chief of Army Staff Of the Indian Army General Manoj Pande visited the Ladakh sector and witnessed the on-going exercise (Parvat Prahar).

Indian and Chinese troops have completed the disengagement process at Patrolling Point-15 in the Gogra-Hot Springs region of eastern Ladakh, the Indian military establishment said on Tuesday.

The Indian government last week had said that the disengagement process in this area started at 8.30am Thursday (September 8) and will be completed by Monday (September 12). But the process was completed a day later than expected, on Tuesday afternoon, September 13.
