S. Jaishankar, India's External Affairs Minister (EAM), said on Monday that the country's 'Neighborhood First Policy' has put a renewed emphasis on establishing ties with its neighbors in order to deepen economic ties. EAM was addressing an event at the Bharat Chamber of Commerce on 'Post-Covid Economic Recovery’
He said that through a sustained focus on lowering trade barriers and facilitating the free movement of goods and people, "we have seen a significant increase in bilateral trade with some of our key neighbors."
