India overtook U.S. to become the second-most sought-after manufacturing destination globally, driven mainly by cost competitiveness, according to real estate consultant Cushman & Wakefield’s World manufacturing Danger Index. China has retained the first position, followed by India, the USA, Canada and the Czech Republic, making it to the top 5.
