Various parts of Africa, Latin America and some parts of Asia face vaccine shortages. China is upfront in vaccine exports compared to India.

India resumes vaccine exports to four nations

India has again resumed the export of vaccines to Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal and Iran. The country halted the export due to raising COVID-19 cases during April-May 2021.

Presently, the country has vaccinated a billion doses of vaccines; India also refrained from commercial contracts as the vaccines produced were put to domestic use.
