On Monday, the Government of India supplied medical goods worth more than FJ$325,000 to the Government of Fiji during a ceremony at the Fiji Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Service Centre in Suva.

“The Government and people of India are happy to help a ‘friend in need’ and in the spirit of VasudhevKutumbakam — the World is one family, India is committed to assisting Fiji in times of natural disasters and pandemic and support the different sectors of the Fijian economy. India also commends the Government of Fiji in their achievements in efforts mitigating the impact of COVID-19,” said P. S. Karthigeyan, High Commissioner of India.
