The International Migration Outlook 2021 released by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has some interesting findings pertaining to migration of Indians to OECD countries.

Migration into OECD – some of the wealthiest nations in the world – dropped sharply by over 30% in 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. At 3.7 Million, this is the lowest level in permanent migration since 2003. Prior to the global health crisis, the permanent migration to OECD countries was at roughly 5.3 Million in 2019.
