India — US partnership on 'Climate Action and Finance Mobilisation Dialogue'

Kerry urged that it is the right time to invest in energy transition, terming the clean energy partnership as a major opportunity for India and the US and it is far less expensive to deal with climate crisis now than it will be in the future.

United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry and Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav launched the Climate Action and Finance Mobilisation Dialogue under India-US Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 Partnership today (Sept. 13)

The Indian Minister said the Partnership would provide both countries an opportunity to renew collaborations on climate change keeping the financial aspects of it in consideration.
