Indian American artist paints drool worthy Indian food
Apart from the exhibition, SAWCC will organise a panel discussion on June 11, that will discuss the food journeys of the Indian diaspora

New-Jersey based artist, Sarasvathy TK will hold her first solo exhibition of paintings in collaboration with the South Asian Womxn’s Creative Collective (SAWCC) at Foley Gallery in Manhattan from June 9 to 12, 2022.
The exhibition called ‘Bhojan’,which means “meal’ in Hindi, is a collection of twelve paintings of Indian food depicted in a hyperreal style. The paintings successfully capture the colors, textures, and intricate details of Indian meals such as chole bature, mango lassi, jalebis and many more.
