Indian American astronaut Raja Chari and colleague Kayla Barron undertook a 6-hour 54-minutes spacewalk in preparation for the impending solar array installation and streamed it live.

It was Chari's first spacewalk and Barron's second, and part of the 247th spacewalk in support of space station installation, modifications, and maintenance. By building and installing modification kits, Barron and Chari fulfilled their principal goals of preparing the space station for planned solar array modifications.
