Indian American Cardiologist Samit Shah awarded Naratil Pioneer Award
Samit Shah, who is an assistant Professor at Yale School of medicine, has been granted the award to study women with ischemic heart disease, characterized by reduced blood flow to the heart.

Indian American Cardiologist Samit Shah was awarded the Wendy U. and Thomas C. Naratil Pioneer Award by Women’s Health Research at Yale( WHRY) for his study that aims to improve the diagnosis of heart disease in women.
According to a tweet by the institute his study aims to set the foundation for improved patient communication and the development of targeted therapies for women.
Samit Shah MD, PhD, received the Wendy U. and Thomas C. Naratil Pioneer Award by @WHRYale. The aim is to, "set the foundation for improved patient communication and the development of targeted therapies," for women.
