Freshworks is the first Indian-origin SaaS company to debut on the US-based Nasdaq stock exchange rocketing its market value to over $10 billion.

Freshworks has become the first software startup of Indian-origin to list on the Nasdaq stock exchange, making 2% above the initial offering price of $36 per stock for the 28.5 million shares of common stock.

Listed as FRSH on Nasdaq, the California based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company raised over $1.03 billion in its IPO in New York. Freshworks’ current market value is at an impressive $13 billion. This makes it the most valuable SaaS startup from India, pushing ahead of companies like Postman (valued at $5.6 billion).
