Indian American named president of USIBC

Atul Keshap is of Indian descent, has held several positions of prominent government posts in the United States and is a 28-year veteran of the State Department.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced on Tuesday that ambassador Atul Keshap has been named president of the US-India Business Council (USIBC) with effect from Jan. 5.

The USIBC tweeted, "We're excited to announce veteran diplomat Atul Keshap as the new president of the US India Business Council. Keshap brings deep expertise and experience that will lead our efforts to strengthen US and India partnership in 2022."
